Start of the Expedition

The expedition is officially underway! After almost a year of preparations, 10 people have begun their quest to raise awareness about the perilous state the Baltic Sea is in. On March 11th, Around 200 people came to walk the first day together, gathering marine litter and seeing what a day in the expedition is going to be like. After just a couple of days in Lithuania, the expedition will enter Poland and continue learning about the sea, what other countries are doing to improve the situation it is in and participating in workshops, where citizens will be able to see what scientists have been seeing for decades.
